The anticyclone almost to the south of the Mascarenes is causing a moderate air current over our region. Clouds associated with the remains of a frontal system are influencing the local weather, the weather station indicates in its bulletin issued this Thursday.

The sky will be cloudy in general this morning and early afternoon with occasional showers mainly on the southern half of the island, in the east and on the central plateau. These showers could be locally moderate.

Fog patches are expected in some places. The weather will be partly cloudy in general afterwards with occasional showers in the east, south and on the central plateau.

The maximum temperature will vary between 19 and 21 degrees Celsius on the central plateau and between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius on the coast.

The minimum temperature will vary between 15 and 17 degrees Celsius on the central plateau and between 19 and 21 degrees Celsius in the coastal regions.

The wind is blowing from the east-southeast at around 20 km/h, strengthening during the morning with gusts reaching 60 km/h in some places.

The sea is rough beyond the reefs with waves reaching 3 meters. Exits in the open sea as well as in the eastern and southern lagoons are not recommended.
