We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Associate – Date Steward based in our Vistra (Mauritius) office. Reporting to the Director Business Engineering, this full-time and permanent position is based in Mauritius and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Business Engineering department and its’ growth.

Key responsibilities:

• The role will be responsible for the maintenance of the integrity of the Global VPoint database in line with Vistra’s CLM Target Operating Model (TOM) and business processes.
• Developing and running a suite of exception reports to ensure the accuracy of data maintained within VPoint. In due course, working with Business Analysts and Technology to automate exception reports and remove manual input
• Building strong relationships with regional stakeholders in order to develop processes to ensure prompt follow up of identified exceptions
• Understanding and controlling security access to the database
• Key tasks will include but are not limited to:
• Notifications management between teams and jurisdiction for shared data and VPoint Masterfiles
• Identification of files and data that need de-duping within the database and approval for the Technology team to action
• Entity close down procedures in line with data retention policy
• Address card maintenance to ensure changes are appropriate within the global model and impacts are fully understood
• Exception reporting including:
• Data comparison within the database versus global data expectations (missing data, incorrect data duplicated data, documents saved outside of global policy)
• Data comparison within the database versus third party reports where available
• Client Portal access checks
• Security checks
• Knowledge of View Point ( Entity management system) could be an added advantage.
• Look for scope to do automation of exception reports

Key requirements:

• Strong data analytical skills, and passion to handle data , analytical & documentation skills.
• Awareness of data quality rules
• Attention to detail – essential
• Strong excel skills – essential
• Ability to work across a wide variety of stakeholders across regions – US, Europe, APAC and build and maintain relationships
• Strong track record of working with IT applications and business processes
• Knowledge of View Point ( Entity management system) could be an advantage, but not a mandatory requirement.

Relevant experience:

• Around 2.5-4 years of experience (Out of this at least 2 years exposure in Data analysis and/or data management)

Education/Professional Qualifications:

• 3 Year degree or 4 year Degree (BE)
