The number of dengue cases is decreasing, with only 39 active cases.

According to Kailesh Jagutpal, who spoke this morning, July 10, at a press conference. In the last four days, only four new cases have been detected. This is the first time since December that the number of active cases has dropped below ten.

It is important to note that eight deaths have so far been attributed to dengue.

Regarding leptospirosis, the country currently has four active cases, all hospitalized.

To date, 59 cases of leptospirosis have been detected, resulting in nine deaths.

The Minister of Health nevertheless calls for increased vigilance.
