Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes, ensuring they meet the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality.
• Demonstrate expertise in various cooking techniques, including grilling, baking, sautéing, and plating.
• Lead and support the kitchen team during busy shifts, ensuring efficient operations and timely service.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, following food safety and hygiene guidelines.
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a cook in a professional kitchen (minimum 2 years preferred).
• A genuine passion for culinary arts and a desire to continually improve cooking skills.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced kitchen environment, including weekends and evenings as per the shift system.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude in high-pressure situations.
• Leadership skills to guide and motivate the kitchen team to achieve culinary excellence.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a team-oriented setting.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Have a food handler’s certificate
