Within Business Technologies, we are frequently executing smaller and bigger programs that can go across the whole company. The project manager (or feature lead role in agile context) plays an active role in coordinating and collaborating with Agile squads of varied disciplines, to successfully deliver on program milestones and deliverables.

Key accountabilities

Handling project startup: identifying scope and stakeholders, understanding business vision, value and goals. Define project goals.

Coordinate with tribe leads, product owners, engineers, external partners,…

Plan, slice sequencing over time in cooperation with the product owners and involved parties:

Work closely with engineers and architects to ensure consistent and coherent implementation across squads

Fostering effective communication with all stakeholders concerning project status

Fostering a culture of working together towards project goals, being a team player

Foreseeing and strategically eliminating blockers and potential risks

Supporting an open feedback culture with engineers, stakeholders, customers and users

Expectations, Experiences & Knowledge

A project management background is a must, agile framework background is a plus. Combined with hands on project management experience.

A technical IT infrastructure background (digital workplaces, enterprise connectivity,…) is required

Good skills to summarize (visualize) the essence of the solutions and the problems

Confident and skilled at identifying and navigating through road-blocks

Ability to delegate and not be afraid to ask for help

Educational / Skill / Experience Requirements

3+ years working in an IT project or program management role.

5+ years working in the IT industry

Experience with program and/or project work. Project Management behaviour with being able to connect and challenge the dots end to end.

Analytical and problem-solving mindset

Service-driven mindset

Strong communication skills including remote steering

Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn and grow

Ability to translate technical terms into easy to grasp, layman concepts.

Proficient in English (written and spoken). Other languages such as Dutch, French and/or German are a plus.
