Are you ready to take the helm of financial excellence within a dynamic and rapidly evolving digital business? We have an extraordinary opportunity for an exceptional Finance Director to lead our finance team and shape the financial landscape of our global market-leading digital enterprise.

Your Role:

Reporting directly to the Chief Finance Officer of our Rank Digital business, you will steer a team of talented and motivated accountants, both qualified and part-qualified, in our Mauritius office. Collaborating closely with key players in FP&A and Group Finance, you will orchestrate financial control with finesse, crafting a robust financial control environment in our fast-paced online domain. Taking ownership of all operational and control elements of the Digital business, working hand in hand with Group Functions including Tax, Treasury and central shared services.

Leading Excellence: You’ll guide and inspire our team of accountants while working in seamless synergy with Group Functions, including Accounts Payable, Management Accounting, Tax, Banking, and Treasury.

Financial Mastery: The balance sheet will be your canvas as you craft precise and punctual financial records, ensuring accuracy and transparency. Your expertise will be the guiding light in identifying and addressing any reconciling items.

Strategic Support: You’ll collaborate with our FP&A function in Gibraltar to deliver crucial commercial analytics and conduct cost reviews that ensure the accuracy of financial postings. Your insights will minimize reallocations and adjustments, enhancing financial precision.

Statutory Stewardship: Together with our Group Financial Controller, you’ll orchestrate the completion of our annual Statutory Accounts and Financial Statements, fostering a harmonious relationship with external auditors.

Driving Innovation: Continuous improvement will be your mantra. You’ll lead the charge in refining our Digital Finance processes, enhancing quality, reducing delivery time, and mitigating financial risks across our expansive business landscape.

Leadership Presence: Your influential leadership will extend beyond numbers. You’ll be a prominent figure within our Mauritius management and organization, providing core financial support and commercial acumen.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.) with demonstratable years of postqualification experience and a strong track record of delivering to timescales
• A desire for continuous improvement around financial control and processes to ensure real value-add to the business
• Preferably an understanding of the commercial drivers of the Online industry
• Ideally, but not required, experience working in the Online Gaming sector or equivalent online industry
• The ability to confidently engage and influence stakeholders across the organisation, including senior stakeholders
• The ability to communicate financial information effectively, adding value to budget holders’ strategy
• International business acumen is required for this role, working across multiple locations and reporting to an international CFO is desirable
