Sunday, October 1st, Bissonduth Beeharry, a 55-year-old mason residing in Nehru Nagar Argy, Flacq, died as a result of a fall that occurred on August 13th. However, questions remain regarding the length of time between his initial injury and the day he was taken to the hospital.
The incident dates back to August 13th, 2023, when Bissonduth Beeharry suffered a head injury due to a fall. However, it seems that no one took him to the hospital at that time. It was on August 20th, 2023, when his 33-year-old daughter visited him and noticed the head injury. She immediately made the decision to take him to the hospital.
The fifty-five-year-old man was admitted to Dr Bruno Cheong Hospital. However, due to the severity of his injury, he was transferred to the intensive care unit at Dr Jeetoo Hospital on August 25th for a head surgery. Unfortunately, despite all medical efforts made, the victim did not survive and his death was pronounced on October 1st at 5:00 AM.
The news of Bissonduth Beeharry’s death came as a shock to his family, especially his daughter who had done everything possible to save her father’s life.
An autopsy was conducted on October 1st at Dr Jeetoo Hospital morgue. Dr Sunassee, the forensic doctor attributed the cause of death to “cerebral edema.” The body was released to the family for funeral arrangements. A police investigation has been launched in order to determine the exact circumstances surrounding this tragedy.
