Job description: Job Description We are offering a great opportunity for early career or aspiring conservation biologists from the southwest Indian Ocean region to be part of a one-year remunerated internship programme with Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust and the Mauritian Wildlife Foundation, starting at the beginning of June 2024. The internship will provide work experience,and field on the following:

The internship will be based on Round Island, Ile aux Aigrettes and mainland Mauritius.

Job Requirements

This internship is specifically designed for early career conservation professionals from Mauritius, the South-Western Indian Ocean islands or related conservation contexts (experience in tropical coastal/island restoration). We are looking for highly self-motivated and conscientious individuals to assist with the conservation and restoration work on the offshore islands within our programme teams. Specific requirements are listed in the leaflet (below).
