Labour Party MP Ehsan Juman was expelled from Parliament and named by Speaker Sooroojdev Phokeer on Tuesday, July 9, after an exchange of words between them. The expulsion occurred during the Ministers’ Questions session. The Red MP wanted to obtain details from Social Security Minister Fazila Jeewa-Daureeawoo on the investments of the National Pension Fund. The session was subsequently suspended.
