From August 1st to July 31st 2025, Sahara Energy Resources will be responsible for the supply of petroleum products for Mauritius. Its rates are more competitive compared to the Mercantile and Maritime Group, says the Managing Director of the State Trading Corporation in a statement to RadioPlus this Friday morning, July 5th.

Will there be a drop in the price of petroleum products due to these more competitive tariffs? No, says Rajiv Servansing. He explains that the main objective of the STC is to ensure security of supply and the origin of products.
