Two Nigerians were arrested when they got off the plane at Plaisance airport yesterday.

Aged 31 and 32, the two men had in their possession 8 Ecstasy tablets, 898 rolling papers, 42 cannabis seeds and products suspected of being used in the cultivation of cannabis.

The two suspects arrived aboard flight MK 852 from Johannesburg. They were intercepted by customs officers from the customs anti-narcotics section and Adsu officers while they were in the Green Channel of the airport.

The two suspects are expected to appear in court.
Their interrogations will begin in the coming days.

The investigation continues under the supervision of Chief Inspector Goinden of the anti-drug squad.
