The Red Sea graphite refinery project has not yet been approved. The request for its implementation is currently being examined. This is what Pravind Jugnauth clarified in response to the Private Notice Question (PNQ) from the leader of the opposition, in the National Assembly, this Tuesday, June 25.

The Red Sea graphite refinery project, led by the company NextSource CSPG, requires an investment of $50 million and could generate up to $100 million. The creation of 120 direct jobs and 300 indirect jobs is also planned with this project, underlined the Prime Minister.
