QuestionsGeneral-MiscIs it possible to find work from home part time/full time jobs for HSC students
Hoaxify asked 9 months ago

Please provide me with more information, as I am interested in learning more. The reason I am searching for a work from home job is due to my responsibilities at home, as I have someone to take care of.

Your post is vague. What’s your major? What soft skills do you have? From this, we can deduce what kind of entry level job you can find

Recently saw a head hunting company advertiding various ‘internship’ positions (remote) so I would suggest:

1. create a LinkedIn profile putting as much info as possible. And 2. build up your skills for area you are interested in.
Lots of ooportunities to learn for free nowadays.
3. Create a LinkedIn search for hybrid, remote opportunities.

All the best!

It’s as the other comments say. Speaking from experience, I’d just like to sympathise with whatever your situation is. Unfortunately it’s really hard to get a job as a person with only HSC under their belt, let alone a remote job, as most companies require their employees to be on-site. As a form of leverage, I highly recommend you register with YEP (Youth Employment Programme) apply for a lot of internships (SD Worx, Accenture, and others, to my knowledge the ones I mentioned don’t offer remote work for internships). This way, your employer only has to pay a certain percentage of your wage/salary, this way they’ll be more willing to hire you on a part-time/full-time basis. I myself was in this situation (and still currently am somewhat), but I managed to pull through and scored decent pay to support my family, as well as a job I really like and enjoy. Wish you the best in your future endeavors.
