QuestionsTourism-AdviceWhen is actually the best time of the year to visit Mauritius?
Bobiego asked 9 months ago

I'm uncertain about the ideal time to go on vacation to Mauritius as there are conflicting opinions. Some suggest around Christmas, while others recommend January or May. However, I need to plan a two-week trip with a focus on sun, beach, and pleasant bathing weather that isn't too sweltering. Additionally, I want to avoid as much rain and bad weather as possible. Can you please advise on the best time for our vacation in Mauritius? We can only go between Christmas this year and June next year, so July to December are not viable options. Thank you!

Feb-March is probably best. Starts to get a bit rainy in April last couple times I’ve been.

Right now would be the best time IMO.
Still a bit chilly at nights for good sleep 🙂 . sunny and warm during the day in the coastal areas and slightly less warmer in the higher altitudes. No heavy rainfall / no cyclone nothing.

Weather-wise now it best.
