This beautiful resort opened in October 2008, and has 90 one-bedroom villas, 1 Presidential Suite, 45 two-to-five-bedroom residential villas, 5 stunning Food and Beverage venues in addition to managing an off-property beach bar/restaurant, an award-winning over water Spa, 2 tennis courts and a fitness center.PurposeTo apply all the safety and security instructions to safeguard internal guests, external guests and hotel property and take necessary action when in presence of emergency situations.Job ResponsibilitiesGeneralExecutes all tasks assigned by his/her superiorsDemonstrates a high degree of standards awareness; promotes teamwork and acts as role modelAttends all scheduled training sessions.Displays warmth, care and genuine enthusiasm when dealing with guests and internal customers; lives the Golden Rule.Adheres to the hotel’s code of conduct and grooming & hygiene standardsIs seen as working hands-on, assists colleagues in crunch times.Actively participates in briefings and meetings.Maintains a clean and orderly work area and promotes a safe working environment.Performs any additional duties as assigned.DepartmentalFrequent patrolling of public areas, car parking and heart of house areas to prevent intrusion by unauthorized people or undesirables.Understand the operation of all emergency life safety equipment and respond to all emergency situations that may arise in the resort.When on duty at the security desk should view the CCTV Camera and report to superiors any abnormalities on the resort.Be vigilant in observing and correcting potential safety & security concerns.Assist in the day-to-day operations in the security department.Perform tasks and duties as assigned by the Director of Security/Security Manager/Supervisors and Security Officers during the shift.Be able to conduct routine checks on employees and contractors baggage when exiting the resort premises.Should have thorough knowledge of the fire panel, take appropriate action by informing Engineering, supervisors and ADH when activated and insert entries in the registers.To control access at the main gate, inform MOD and GSA and insert appropriate entries in the registers.To check the security of the villas when on patrol day and night.When posted at the security desk should monitor and upkeep all badges, registers, files, keys as per key board and key registers , radios, torches and all other equipment at the desk.Should register all lost and found items in appropriate forms and be accountable till stored.Ensure all safety and security related incidents are reported to management immediately.Assist in the arrival and departure of State official visits, dignitaries and government delegations.Report any incidents immediately.Perform tasks and duties as directed by the management of the resortEnsure the main doors of all offices are locked after the normal duty working hoursObserve and note all important happening in the log book and report to your Manager/SupervisorEnsure that all the emergency fire exit stair ways are clear of any hindrance.Be alert and vigilant on the guests areas and watch out for suspicious and unauthorized personsInitiate preventive measures to minimize the risk of fire, accident, gas leakage, oil spills, bomb threat or any other emergency and inform your Manager/Supervisor immediately.Be well verse with the resort evacuation procedure and taking an active part in simulation fire exercise.Should be well versed with the Department P&Ps and apply when and where necessary.Perform any other cognate duties as and when required.Special RequirementsSecondary Education.Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience in a similar function.
