Job description: Job Description Store Helpers will have to work closely with store managers, sales associates, and other staff members to meet the store’s daily operational needs.

Stocking and Inventory Control:

• Unload, unpack, and organize merchandise as it arrives.
• Restock shelves and displays to maintain product availability.
• Perform regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to supervisors.

Store Maintenance:

• Ensure the store’s cleanliness and organization by regularly sweeping, mopping, and tidying up.
• Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues to the store management.

Price Tagging and Labeling:

• Affix price tags, labels, or promotional materials to products as directed.
• Update and replace old or damaged price tags as necessary.
• 4. Assistance with Sales:

• Assist sales associates during peak hours by bagging items, handling payments, or providing additional support as needed.
• 5.Loss Prevention:

• Help prevent theft or shoplifting by being vigilant and reporting suspicious activities to store security or management.
• 6.Adherence to Store Policies:

• Follow store policies and guidelines regarding dress code, punctuality, and customer service.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry moderately heavy objects.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
• Basic math skills for tasks such as inventory counting and cash handling.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Place of work: Stanley, Rose Hill

Working Hours: Mon-Fri( 8:30- 17:00)

Saturday(8:30 -13:30)

Stand- alone stores are in Port Louis & Rose Hill with a limited book range available in our HobbyWorld stores across the Island.
