The fairly strong anticyclone southwest of the Mascarenes is causing a moderate and rather cold air current over our region. Clouds associated with the remains of a frontal system will influence local weather during the night, the weather station indicates in its bulletin issued this Wednesday.

The weather is partly cloudy this morning, becoming cloudy at times in the east, south, and on the central plateau with a few showers. Generally, it will be fine in the afternoon.

The maximum temperature will vary between 19 and 21 degrees Celsius on the central plateau and between 23 and 26 degrees Celsius on the coast.

Cloudy periods are expected during the night with showers, especially in the east, south, and on the central plateau.

The minimum temperature will vary between 15 and 17 degrees Celsius on the central plateau and between 19 and 21 degrees Celsius in the coastal regions.

The wind will blow from the south at 20 to 30 km/h with gusts of around 50 km/h.

The sea will be rough beyond the reefs with waves of around 2 metres, gradually becoming strong tonight. Exits on the high seas are not recommended tonight.
