The atmosphere is high at SSR airport in Plaisance this Tuesday evening, May 28.

Noémie Alphonse and the Mauritius para-athletics team are eagerly awaited.

Noemi Alphonse, 28, won the 100m world champion title in the T54 category at the Kobe Universiade Memorial Stadium in Japan. The para-athlete thus becomes the first Mauritian sportswoman to achieve such a feat.
