They will soon be able to return home. Flight MK 647, which was canceled this Tuesday June 11 due to a technical failure, will finally take off for Mauritius tomorrow at noon. The 180 Mauritian passengers stranded in Malaysia will soon be able to return home.

In a press release issued this Tuesday evening, Air Mauritius specifies that “the captain reported that the oil level in one of the engines was abnormally low. The engineers checked the engine's oil consumption by carrying out an Engine Run. It also states that “the fault in the aircraft has been identified and repairs have been carried out.”

However, due to the unavailability of catering services, among others, the flight has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday June 12, at 12:00 p.m.
