A CNT bus collided with a tram in Vacoas. The events occurred shortly after 7 p.m. at Sivananda Avenue. The accident did not cause any injuries.
Various police units and Metro Express officers arrived on scene. The traffic was quickly resolved with a police presence remaining on the scene for a period of time.
According to initial indications, the bus, which was negotiating a turn, drove onto the tram rails to continue its journey when the impact occurred. The Vacoas police have initiated an investigation.
