The Ministry of Education informs parents that registrations for admission to Grade 1 for the year 2025 will begin on June 3.
In a press release issued this Tuesday, May 28, it is specified that the parents concerned are those whose children have reached or will reach the age of 5 between January 1 and December 31, 2024.
Parents must register their children in only one public or subsidized school, depending on their place of residence.
Required documents include a national identity card of the parent, the child's birth certificate, as well as CEB and CWA invoices for February, March and April 2024.
Parents residing in the Catchment Area of one of the 34 high-demand schools must also provide a “Proof of Residency” form.
