Anba Manikham, Senior Manager Ground Services Worldwide, has been suspended from his duties. This is what we confirm at Air Mauritius. He reportedly received his suspension letter on Tuesday. On March 13, a memo sent by the company to staff announced its transfer from Cabin Operations and Inflight Services to the Ground Services Worldwide department.

A few days ago, Anba Manikham was sent to London-Gatwick to, among other things, oversee the operations of the plane rented by Air Mauritius from Hi Fly for three weeks. He will have to return to the country this Thursday following this sanction. At the beginning of March, Anba Manikham was the subject of denunciations, along with other executives of the company, in an anonymous letter, in the context of recent recruitments.

Anba Manikham is known to be close to Ken Arian, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Airport Holdings Ltd (AHL), the entity that owns the national aviation company. Relations between the current management of MK under the leadership of Charles Cartier and Ken Arian are conflictual. Even if during his interview on Radio Plus in the program Coeur de l'info, Charles Cartier had denied the existence of such a conflict.
