The strong anticyclone south of the Mascarenes causes cold trade winds in our region. Elsewhere, clouds in the trade winds will influence the local weather this morning, indicates the weather station in its bulletin issued this Thursday morning.

The sky will be cloudy this morning with intermittent rain mainly on the heights, in the East and in the South. The weather will gradually improve throughout the day.

Pockets of fog are also expected on the heights, thus reducing visibility.

The maximum temperature will vary between 20 and 22 degrees Celsius on the central plateau and between 24 and 27 degrees Celsius on the coast.

The sky will be partly overcast to cloudy tonight with intermittent rain mainly in the East, South and on the central plateau.

The minimum temperature will vary between 15 and 17 degrees Celsius on the central plateau and between 19 and 22 degrees Celsius in the coastal regions.

The wind will blow from the South-East at around 25 km/h with gusts reaching 60 km/h in exposed places.

The sea is rough beyond the reefs with swells from the southern sector of around 3 meters.

Outings on the high seas, as well as in the lagoons of the South-West, South and East are not recommended.
