“Monn anvi found enn denouman inside, rapidman”, expressed Patrick Assirvaden, this Monday, May 27, as he left the Supreme Court. The Opposition Whip challenges his six-week suspension in the National Assembly. The Labor Party MP referred the matter to the Supreme Court. Note that in an affidavit attached to his request, Patrick Assirvaden affirms that the Speaker failed to respect an agreement signed in 2022 concerning the allocation of parliamentary questions by means of drawing lots. He accuses the Speaker of implementing a method to “manipulate” the ranking of questions, thus favoring, according to him, the interests of the government to the detriment of those of the opposition.
