Mauritius currently has 520 active cases of dengue fever. Since December 11, 1,486 cases have been recorded.
These are the figures communicated by the Ministry of Health this Friday, February 23. The majority of cases were recorded in the Port-Louis region and its surroundings.
More than fifty cases have been recorded in Plaines-Wilhems.
As a reminder, two deaths were attributed to dengue fever. The public is strongly encouraged to be vigilant and put in place strict measures to prevent the proliferation of mosquitoes.
