Disappearance or staging? Since Monday, April 22, Sheik Mohammad Azhar Wahed Duljeet, aged 36 and originally from the village of Notre-Dame, has been missing. It was the wife who, on April 24, reported the disappearance of this carpenter to the Montagne Longue police station.

This case is all the more intriguing because the woman says she received a text message from her husband's WhatsApp number on Wednesday morning. It was written: “Madame Sheikh we could have sent the corpse of scammer Mr Sheik soon, since Monday morning, with us, from several of her victims”.

She says she called her husband immediately, but there was no answer. “So your phone, your phone is WhatsApp but it’s a SIM,” she added.

According to the wife, when Sheik Mohammad Azhar Wahed Duljeet had left his house on Monday, he had a sum of Rs 20,000 in his possession. Alerted to this case of disappearance, the squad of the Major Crimes Investigation Team, Superintendent Vikash Seebaruth and Inspector Deewoo, started an investigation. They made a first raid on the carpenter's home. Investigators were deployed on the ground to collect information.

In November 2020, Azhar Wahed Duljeet was reported missing to the police. But after a few days, he was found safe and sound on the public beach of Tamarin.

His wife says: “They showed photos of my bloody husband”

She appeals to the authorities to rescue and find her husband. This mother claims that her husband's kidnappers are violently attacking him: “I receive threats where they beat him, they don't give him food, they put him in a very dark garage, they send very frightening photos, there are photos where they beat him and show blood, I am very mentally tired,” laments this mother of two children who spoke to Teleplus this Sunday. Her voice consumed with worry, she relates that last January, her husband was the victim of an attack by a client: “They locked him in a house and they broke his ribs, his body was filled with blood “, she laments.
