The search resumed early this Wednesday morning, May 29, in Poudre-d'Or, to find constables Parkiyaven Moorghen and Vimal Sunnassy.
Their boat capsized at Passe St-Géran, Poudre-d'Or, while they were out for a fishing trip yesterday.
Their two other colleagues, Naseeruddin Mudhoo and Steeve Fortuno, were rescued and hospitalized.
They will be questioned again after their release from the hospital.
This search operation continues with the assistance of various police units, notably the National Coast Guard (NCG) as well as the police helicopter which is flying over the region, according to Inspector Shiva Coothen of the Police Press Office. “We remain hopeful,” he said.
