From January to May: the country records tourism revenues of around Rs 38.87 billion

Tourism continues its good momentum. And for good reason, tourism revenues for the first five months of the year amount to Rs 38.87 billion compared to Rs 35.81 billion during the same period in 2023. This represents an increase of around 8.5%, indicates the Bank of Mauritius in its statement on tourism revenues published this Friday, July 5.

The evolution of tourist revenues this year:

January: Rs 9.16 billion

February: Rs 7.38 billion

March: Rs 7.43 billion

April: Rs 7.83 billion

May: Rs 7.06 billion
