Indian opposition leader Rahul Gandhi was re-elected to Parliament with a lead of more than 364,000 votes in the southern constituency of Wayanad, according to Election Commission figures released on Tuesday.

Mr Gandhi contested two seats in the MP elections this year and also had a wide lead of more than 389,000 votes in the northern Indian seat of Rae Bareli.
