Mahébourg: two masons arrested for theft of construction materials

Two masons, aged 31 and 24, were arrested for theft of construction materials in Mahébourg yesterday, Tuesday April 23. During a search of the house they occupied, the police discovered various stolen materials including tiles, cement and window panels, the value of which is estimated at more than Rs 100,000. The suspects were placed in detention at the Rivière-des-Anguilles police station, pending their provisional indictment before the courts.
