Job description: Our client, Winners, the leading supermarket chain in Mauritius, is looking for a Marketing Manager to develop and implement marketing strategies to attract consumers to points of sales, to boost sales through marketing campaigns and techniques, and to develop company’s brand by creating fresh and innovative campaigns to support sales and growth goals.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement and monitor marketing strategies that promote the company’s brand, products and services.Collaborate with the marketing team and other departments to create cohesive and innovative promotional content.Manage all aspects of our marketing operations, including brand management, social media, advertising and campaign management.Oversee the creation of marketing materials, from website banners to hard copy brochures.Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.Create and manage a calendar of events such as webinars, conferences and thought leadership contributions.Guide the marketing team in achieving strategic goals, while fostering a positive and creative work environment.Manage the marketing budget and ensure cost-effective marketing strategies that achieve results.Report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using predefined KPIs.Qualifications and ExperienceDegree in Marketing Management or any other relevant qualificationsA minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar roleConversant with MS Office packageGood understanding of the local FMCG sector or Retail business can be an advantageHolder of a valid driving licenceOther RequisitesPositive proactive team player with a dynamic personalityStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsEffective communication, organizational and time management skillsAbility to demonstrate analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skillsDetail and results-orientedAbility to work under pressureAvailable to work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, as well as odd hoursProactive Talent Solutions reserves the right:To call only the shortlisted candidates for interview.Not to make any appointment following this advertisement nor to assign any reason whatsoever for accepting or rejecting any candidate.
