The Raise Brave Girls association has been campaigning for three years for menstrual leave to be considered as a budgetary measure. The association remains positive about the introduction of these holidays in the budget speech scheduled for this Friday, June 7, indicates its president, Prisheela Mottee.

“The goal is to promote a healthy working environment for women,” she says.

Prisheela Mottee clarifies that menstrual leave should be two days, which is medically justified for women facing severe pain. These holidays should not be deducted from 'sick leaves' and 'local leaves', she said.
