Accused of the murder of the stylist Vanessa Lagesse, the trial brought against Bernard Maigrot in the Assize Court started again this Wednesday morning, May 29. For good reason, one of the nine members of the jury had to be replaced, being unwell.
The lawyers for both parties, namely the prosecution and the defense, will once again have to proceed with their Opening Speech before the jury.
Remember that Bernard Maigrot pleaded not guilty to the murder of Vanessa Lagesse. The stylist's body was discovered in her bathtub on March 9, 2001. Injuries were also found on her body.
