Mauritian Militant Movement (MMM) MP Rajesh Bhagwan has been suspended for the next five parliamentary sittings. He was expelled from the National Assembly and “named” when Parliament resumed on Friday afternoon, July 5. This happened when Speaker Sooroojdev Phokeer was about to make an announcement regarding the Purple MP's remarks made during the opposition leader's press conference earlier this afternoon.
