In the last three Tuesdays, police made three major drug seizures, SP Gangadin said at a press conference on Tuesday (December 5). Today, in Petite-Rivière, 20 kilos of cannabis worth more than Rs 20 million were seized during a raid led by the Adsu Flying Squad, under the supervision of ASP Bahadoor.
The accused, aged 33, is not on file with the police, according to SP Gangadin. During the descent, members of the Flying Squad recovered the drugs which were buried in a cabin.
