The head of government emphasizes that this day is not just about donating blood, because donors will have the opportunity to carry out a series of medical tests. “I took the opportunity to do almost every test available,” he said.
Pravind Jugnauth also recalled the importance of maintaining good health. “When we take stock of the state of health of the population, we observe that we could have avoided several problems. Sometimes we do things consciously and sometimes unconsciously. Often, it is too late to rectify the situation,” he said.
