The Prime Minister inaugurated the Vallée-des-Prêtres police station this Monday afternoon, June 3. The head of government was very clear during his speech and issued this warning to officers in general: “we cannot tolerate oken ekar de enn ofisier dan so travay…”.

Being a police officer is a great responsibility, underlined Pravind Jugnauth, who deplores the fact that some police officers find themselves involved in drug cases.

He once again focused on his fight against drugs:

From 2015 to date, more than Rs 16 billion in drugs have been seized, indicates Pravind Jugnauth. He affirms that the entire population must lead this fight.

The Prime Minister also paid tribute to the late Sir Anerood Jugnauth, on this date which marks the third anniversary of his death.
