Skip to contentHi all, asking for advice. We arrive at LUX Belle Mare early may, we are on the overnight flight from Gatwick, and will arrive at the hotel at approx 8.00am. Kuoni have e mailed me regarding our early morning arrival. I understand it may be far too early to check in to our room, so we are happy to lounge by the pool and have a bite to eat. Kuoni have suggested that we may not be able to use the all inclusive facilities until check in and maybe pay an extra amount / contact the hotel ? I see the majority of fights from UK are early morning, if that applies to any guests there at the moment what was your experience ? Were you able to eat breakfast / drinks on arrival without extra charge ? Never had this issue before with a morning arrival at other hotels !

It will be charged, some hotels are aware of your flights so they may let you do early check in. Depends really. Talk to your hotel. Otherwise just ask your taxi to take you for brunch before going to the hotel.

Although I would argue it’s your travel agent’s job (it’s certainly something I would do for my clients) a nice email to the hotel, especially if you’re spending good money on the holiday, will sometimes work. However most packages start with lunch on the day of arrival so 8am will be too early. I have to say I’d be surprised if you get there that early following immigration, bag collection etc, and Belle Mare is over 1 hour from the airport
I go to Mauritius very often and I’m going next month. My flight is arriving at 7am The hotel is where of my arrival time and they said they won’t have any problem. Just relax enjoy and have something to eat. I never had a problem maybe because they know me I’ve been going there for past 30 years I don’t know, but I never ever had a problem I have been welcome with such a respect and warm welcome with cocktail and some snacks 
That is not the case! We just left lux belle mare and despite leaving at 5pm (way past check out time) we were still allowed to use the all inclusive facilities for all food drinks including alcohol. Sure it applies the other way around too.
