I'm looking for the best beach hotel for a family of 4 adults and 3 children during Christmas, preferably not too expensive. Which one would you recommend? 😊

Christmas time is going to be expensive at most hotels. Maybe look at doing self catering…a nice apartment on the beach 🏝️

Christmas time is peak period as Mauritians tend to spend the Christmas/New Year breaks in hotels. But it is worth going as most hotels have festive entertainments.
The 2nd week in January usually eases up and prices tend to go down.

for large family, rent a villa. Hotel will be costly. Or you can check maritime crystal beach, kids will love the aqua park

Sugar Beach is the best hotel for kids. My kids always loved it there and were entertained from morning to almost midnight. They have so many lovely fun things for kids all day, every day.

If I may say it is almost impossible to find beach front hotel specially during festive period at reasonable rate…I would suggest that you prepare yourself for a salty bill and hope for the best 🙄

Mauritius' most popular native music and dance style is the Sega music, which traces back its origin to the slave population. The songs are sung in Creole, and while dancing, the dancers never let their feet lose contact with the ground.
