Hi Peter Watson you are most welcome to Zilwa Attitude Hôtel
You can change your money at the airport or you can get money changer in grand bay
15 mins drive from your hotel
Or if you are going on a tour to port louis you can change overthere
Thanks

Have you had a look at the Revoult card ? It’s prepaid and the conversion rate is really good. It also tells you on app straight away what you have spent in Rupees and £s. I’ve hardly needed any cash for a 2 week holiday.

I’ve always used cash. Never used a card in Mauritius. Change a lump at the airport and there are plenty of exchange places around Grand Baie/Perybere.
Cash is king.

I do my changing at Western Union good rates
If you got one near you it is ok but if start getting taxi to get to one then it won’t be cost effective
