Skip to contentWhen visiting several beaches other than the 5* resort I’m staying at, would the hotel happily provide us with beach towels to use there. Don’t want to carry excess items in my luggage lol. Would you recommend we carry our own towels in general or are hotel ones very clean and safe to use.
Also are there plenty of clean public toilets/changing cubicles. I plan to visit as many beaches and be able to change into my swimwear and back. Are there separate men n women cubicles?

Your own hotel will, any others not.
In most of the 5star hotels you will get your towel to go to pool side or beach . Some can will give you an additional card for towel while going to the pool or beach. You give the card you get your towel and then when you return you will get your card back. In beachcomber hotels its like this

Yes an yes on most public beaches, not super, super clean but for public beaches totally ok.
In very small beaches they have it not always.
Sorry I don’t agree that the changing areas at public beaches are clean. Most you have to bring your own toilet paper, lucky if the doors lock or if they have running water. I’ve been going every year for the last 20 and it has improved only slightly I’m afraid 😧

They provide beach towels too
If you find you need a towel of your own, there are plenty of places to buy one.
One of our loan towels went missing and they charged us 10 quid for it so next time I’m using a wrap or bringing my own towel
