Hello everyone. We want to go to Mauritius with our children for the first time next year. As we are dependent on the holidays, we have decided on July.
What are your experiences with the weather in July, as it is "winter" in Mauritius? What are the normal local temperatures like? Is it still pleasant for swimming? Does it often rain during the winter season?
I would be very happy to hear about your experiences 🙂

There are more questions about weather on this site, than about the wonderful people, food and culture of this tropical island. The weather is better than anywhere in Europe all year round, you can swim in the sea every day of the year – the winter months often hotter, certainly dryer, than the UK’s summer. Just soak up the atmosphere.

Hi there. I live here and my daughter s family came to visit in July. Honestly we had lovely weather and she was happy it wasn’t too hot for the kids. It was just hot enough but comfortable
