It is one of the most nice hotels in Mauritius. And you’ll find many restaurants near outside. Taxis are available just outside the hotel.
It’s stunning, lovely staff.

Opt for Lux Grand Baie instead, it’s in the centre with plenty restaurants & malls around it
Fabulous hotel, but isolated so I would recommend going AI and booking a driver for exploring.
Lux are known for Luxury.

It is chic stylish luxurious.

There are 4 restaurants in the hotel compound, one with greek food, every morning there’s a buffet with a crazy variety of food , there’s a mauritian cuisine spot with grilled meat, there’s also another one . In terms of food they don’t seem to lack much. But it will all depend on your package.
You will find many taxis drivers in front of the hotel. Lux grand gaube is a beautiful but isolated. One of the best hotels in Mauritius
Very isolated and few restaurants in the area other than in the resort itself. Grand Bay is much better.

I have been there in October, they have a Peruvian restaurant too! And Bodrum was amazing as well. There are 6 restaurants in total. You can’t go wrong with this choice!
Lux grand baie is closer to shops and restaurants
Amazing hotel, but I would go AI if staying there. There are always taxi’s waiting if you want to go out or hire a local guide to take you to see the island. I recommend Kestrel Azur Tours if you’re looking for one ☺️
