Looking for some recommendations for a reasonable all inclusive hotel on the west coast 🫶🏼 Hoping to book asap but we’re so undecided on hotel! Sorry - edited!
My other question is would all inclusive be worth it? Some hotels I’ve looked at it’s an extra £1,000-£2,000 for all inclusive We’ll be going next September and getting married while out there hence I’m finding the hotel choice hard to make 😅

Hi definitely consider a beachcomber hotel they are just amazing and perfect for any occasion.
Paradis is an excellent hotel especially as it’s only just reopened after an amazing refurb.
If you’d like drop a message to Hampton Bespoke Travel by Inspire they specify in Mauritius holidays

We have been adding up our bills although we’re all inclusive and it definitely works is out cheaper to go all inclusive. A beer at this hotel is £6 a bottle of wine Is £35/£40.

We had a bottle of wine and buffet dinner for two adults and a child was £180 😬

No AI, there is lots of good good everywhere.Half Board is enough!

Irene Fiedler answered 8 months ago

Breakfast is great everywhere , dinner depends on stars of the Hotel. They offer more international food, not so much the good creole dishes. If you like the local food better not eat in the hotel!

It isn’t mentioned often but can recommend le meridien ile Maurice. The nirvana section is amazing. Also the jetty would be a beautiful place for your wedding.

We stayed at the Pearl Beach resort which is on an amazing beach that goes on for miles each way. The hotel is lovely and the rooms are great. It is all inclusive and we found the food quite repetitive but there are loads of places to eat within walking distance if that is a problem. The food they had was fab – but same/similar choices each night. Car hire very inexpensive. Value for money was excellent. Least expensive hotel I have stayed in over there. Hope it helps.

Mauritius is believed to be the only known habitat of the now extinct flightless Dodo bird. The bird, once present in huge numbers on the island, was flightless owing to a shortage of predators and thus remained safe on the ground. The arrival of humans in the form of sailors saw vast numbers of dodos being killed for their meat. With humans came rodents and primates who destroyed and consumed the dodo's eggs. The entire dodo population was wiped out within a century.
