Two new victims of road accidents were recorded this Thursday, July 4. A 56-year-old resident of Dubreuil was on a motorcycle this afternoon when he was involved in an accident with a van. The motorcyclist did not survive his injuries. Dubreuil police have launched an investigation to shed light on the circumstances surrounding this tragedy.
The second victim is a 62-year-old resident of Melrose. Since June 18, the 60-year-old had been admitted to intensive care at Victoria Hospital. The car in which he was travelling as a passenger had left the road and hit a pylon. He breathed his last on Thursday.
