On April 24 in the early evening, a 26-year-old man was driving his car on Avenue Dispensaire, when he was intercepted by the thug, who took the opportunity to snatch his two gold chains, estimated at Rs 50,000, from his neck.

Finally, on Friday April 26, investigators from the Force Crime Intelligence Unit obtained precise information according to which their target was hiding in the Quatre-Bornes region. Indeed, during a raid, repeat offender Shehzad Irfaan Chamroo, aged 30 and from Cité Mère Teresa, Triolet, was rendered harmless. Confronted with these cases of violent theft, the thirty-year-old confessed. He remains in police custody.
