The Mustun couple, at the head of Eezahandmade, are an example of resilience. They were able to combine passion and entrepreneurship to create a successful business. Their SME, specializing in personalized bags and kits, is the result of an adventure started in 2019, born from Parweeza's love for sewing and her desire for a change after years in samosa production.
Parweeza Mustun has always had an entrepreneurial spirit. After several years in the food industry, where she sold samosas, she decided to change direction. “Sewing has always been a passion for me. So I decided to start making personalized bags and kits,” shares this Beau-Bassin resident. To achieve her goal, she took sewing classes.
The Mustun couple have three sons, two of whom are winners. All contributed to the success of the company. Parweeza, who preferred to stay at home, found in Eezahandmade a way to combine her family life and her passion. “My sons help me with marketing and, little by little, the business has grown,” she adds.
