This is not simply our job, it’s our passion.About the RoleThe Supervisor, Airport is primarily responsible to ensure that all arrival guests with flight details are paged and assisted with their luggage & transportation. He/She will welcome and assist the guests with any transferrequest or requirement. The Supervisor, Airport will receive the VIP guests at the airport on behalf of the hoteland will provide the required assistance. He/She will be the main liaison between the airport and the hotel.Additionally, the Supervisor, Airport will act as the hotel’s ambassador at the airport and will promote the hotelrooms, facilities, and services according to the hotel’s operational standards. Most importantly, he/she will report to the hotel and will always ensure smooth running of the department.Key Duties and Responsibilities
- To conduct daily line up.
- To ensure proper grooming of colleagues.
- To ensure cleanliness and set up as per standard.
- To manage emails.
- To conduct training with subordinates/colleagues.
- To handle guest arrival and departure with pick up request.
- To check/ensure cleanliness of vehicles.
- To follow the working schedule properly; any changes to be made are to be reported and approved by the reporting Manager, i.e. the Manager, Front Office.
- To assist with customer service inquiries and luggage handling.
- To give all hotel facilities information to the guests and assists them to the assigned vehicle.
- To inform the Manager, Front Office when all arrivals, especially VIPs are on their way to the hotel.
- To be present at all scheduled flight landings and to assist incoming guests with luggage clearance; as well as to direct them to transport facilities.
- To write all the additional instruction for guests or information about guest arrival or departure in thelogbook and to ensure that the information is transferred to the expected arrival list of each airport representative.
- To ensure proper communication between drivers/Limo driver and to report to the hotel.
- To assist guest with transfers if the pickup is not arranged by the hotel.
- To inform the hotel for any changes in flight schedule.
- To maintain close relationship with all official sectors at the airport and to maintain a spirit ofteamwork among the hotel’s personnel.
- To submit names and arrival flight numbers to the respective team members.
- To maintain detailed knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the hotel.
- To fill the checklist daily and to send to the hotel at the end of every shift to the Manager, Front Office.
- To follow up on Lost Luggage and luggage left behind with Airliners and customs.
- To ensure presence of colleagues at the hotel’s airport counter on each shift.
- To do requisitions, ensuring proper stock of amenities and stationaries for the smooth running ofoperation.
- To be responsible of all tools and equipment and to ensure they are in good condition.
- To draw roster and to communicate it to the Manager, Front Office.
- To manage Local leaves of the team members.
- To ensure accessibility on telephone.
- To manage/report Health and Safety issues for all colleagues.
- To liaise closely with other departments and to emphasize on excellent inter-departmental relations.
- To be able to delegate authority and responsibilities to the direct subordinates without relinquishingultimate responsibility of the operation.
About YouThe desired qualification for this role is at least a School Certificate. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in the same role in an international Ultra-Luxury Resort and must be fluent in written and spoken English and French.Position open for locals onlyOur brand is expanding faster than ever before.
