180 Mauritians remained stranded at Kuala Lumpur airport in Malaysia for a few hours on Tuesday June 11.

Their flight, MK 647 to Mauritius, was canceled this afternoon. A technical failure is believed to be the cause of this delay. They were relocated to a hotel while waiting for their flight to be rescheduled.

Asked for a reaction on this subject, Atma Bumma, communications manager for Air Mauritius, affirms that technical problems were detected on the device. Negotiations are underway for the repair of the plane as well as the rescheduling of the flight.
