Working with our Citco Corporate Services (‘C2S’) team, you will work with multinationals, corporates and private clients to provide critical support that helps them meet the increasing regulatory and compliance requirements that shape the industry.
Your Role:
Reporting to the Head of the Central KYC team, the KYC/AML Manager provides support to the Citco (Mauritius) Limited (‘CMaur’) operations teams to oversee and manage the business side of the risk and KYC/AML framework within the C2S Division.

• Fulfil statutory role of Compliance Officer / MLRO / Deputy MLRO for the Company and / or its client entities, as may be required
• Assist CMaur Management in developing, ongoing maintenance and review of the company’s AML/CFT/CPF

framework * Conduct assurance testing of AML/CFT controls and identify AML/CFT risk management issues / breaches, internal control weaknesses and provide recommendations for improving the company’s control environment

• Conduct reviews and risk assessments in line with group / company policy this includes conducting CDD reviews to onboard new clients as well as periodic reviews of existing clients, performing second reviews and providing sign-off on client’s KYC files
• Maintaining an overview of completeness of CDD files and monitoring actions taken to complete CDD files;
• Populating, updating and monitoring completeness of relevant internal systems with CDD, client and compliance related information and documentation
• Maintaining an overview of high-risk relationships including PEP and Banker as beneficial owner and securing approvals for such relationships are timely obtained
• Assisting the client servicing teams with transaction monitoring and reporting suspicious transactions/ activities in line with applicable reporting policies and procedures
• Verifying possible matches as generated by Citco’s ongoing screening system
• Assist in design and drafting of AML policies and procedures for both CMaur and its client entities
• Monitor and promptly inform internal stakeholders of changes in local regulatory landscape, conduct gap analysis and suggest implementation plans
• Provide support and guidance to senior management, business and other stakeholders on AML/CFT/CPF related matters
• Completing and providing reports to C2S Leadership Team and C2S Head of Governance, Risk And Compliance
• Actively involved in various AML/CFT related regulatory and independent audits
• Cultivate good rapport with local authorities and internal stakeholders
• Take on ad-hoc assignments and complete within agreed deadline
• Assist in the development and implementation of an effective, risk-based compliance training program
• Any other job-related duties as may be required.

Risk Coordinator:

• Coordinate the implementation of Risk Management Policies
• Contribute to risk awareness and address control weakness identified by internal and external parties
• Participate in risk calls
• Capture and keep up to date information in Citco Risk Management system

About You:

• ACAMS membership and certification and / or other relevant specialist qualification in AML/CFT
• At least 5 years’ relevant experience in financial services, preferably management company, of which at least 3 years should be at Manager / Assistant Manager level
• Satisfy competency standards of FSC to act as MLRO/CO
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to organize, prioritise and meet deadlines
• Strong computer literacy and report writing skills
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Ability to communicate on all levels, including with senior management, Account Managers and other colleagues of CMaur and other offices
• Ability to take decision and be solution driven
• Ability to work in a team, under pressure and take initiatives.
• Ability to lead and coach and motivate team members and maintain strong team morale and a positive culture
